What timber and finish will I receive?

Our balustrades are supplied in natural LOSP-treated pine, unpainted and unprimed. Painted balustrades in the photo gallery show finished appearance; white paint is not part of the supplied panel.

Are posts included?

No. All end posts and intermediate posts are excluded and sold separately. Delivery is also excluded from the displayed panel estimates. Confirm posts, connections and installation arrangements with the team before ordering.

Which handrail should I choose?

Choose the balustrade style first, then select a handrail in the shop. HR1 is shown as 65 × 42 mm on the supplier range page; HR2 is 85 × 65 mm. The supplier price table describes HR1 as 65 × 45 mm, so the final section needs confirmation. Other listed handrail profiles can be selected for a confirmed quote.

BS2 has its own plain rectangular rails: 120 × 42 mm at both top and bottom, with 42 × 42 mm uprights face-fixed across them.

How do I measure an opening?

Measure the clear distance between the inside faces of the posts and label each opening A, B, C and so on. Record measurements in millimetres on your sketch; enter 2.7 m in the shop for a 2,700 mm opening. Keep the measured site opening separate from the final manufacturing dimension.

For multiple panels inside one opening, the calculator uses a 90 mm intermediate post width for planning. Actual post sizes, panel splits, height, fixings and final manufacturing dimensions need project confirmation. Stairs need separate angle and site details; a level-panel drawing is not a stair manufacturing drawing.

How do I add several openings?

  1. Choose the style and handrail. Compare the traditional and Hampton ranges, then use the shop controls.
  2. Enter the first opening. Add length, intended height, panel count and supply type. Review the drawing and any quoted-price conditions.
  3. Add it to your quote bag. Give the opening a useful label. Repeat for different openings; use copies only for genuinely identical ones.
  4. Review every line. Check style, handrail, dimensions, quantity and any items needing a quote.
  5. Send your enquiry. Use the quote link to open an email you can review. Attach your labelled sketch and site photos, and include the project location.

Your quote bag prepares an enquiry. No payment is taken online and an email link does not send the message automatically.

Does the estimate include GST?

Yes. The displayed panel rates and estimates include GST. Posts and delivery are excluded. Prices remain subject to a written quote confirming the product, site information and supply details.

HMP1 and HMP4 assembled panels are $360 per metre; HMP3 and HMP9 full-cross panels are $470 per metre. Decorative fretwork-top styles and other unconfirmed combinations require a quote. Traditional published rates are for 900 mm overall height. The shop shows a quote request when it cannot reliably price a combination.

Matching an existing balustrade?

Send a square-on photo of the whole panel, close views of the handrail and balusters, your labelled dimensions and the preferred product code if known. For BS1, note the 42 × 19 mm slats; for BS6, note the 42 × 42 mm square balusters. BS4 uses decorative motifs; BS5 uses turned balusters. Confirm the precise pattern with the team.
