Specify the new work beside the old

Choose a style with the whole elevation in view
Compare a square-baluster design with a narrow slat design against the nearby windows and posts. If you prefer a Hampton cross pattern, check the centre detail and number of repeats in each differently sized opening. One photograph of a long panel may not show how the shortest bay should look.
