Timber balustrades for Sydney projects.
A balcony repair brief needs to show more than the face of the railing. For a Sydney enquiry, photograph the ends of the damaged section, the underside of the bottom rail and the connection to each retained post. This helps separate a need for loose balusters from a need for a complete replacement panel.
Replacing one balcony section
Make a numbered sketch with the street-facing elevation, return and any stair section shown separately. Identify which panels are level. A photo taken from the footpath can compress the appearance of a pattern, so include a close straight-on view taken from a safe position as well.
Plan the final delivery handover
If the destination has limited kerb space or access through a shared entrance, describe it when requesting freight. Give the postcode and whether the delivery is to a home, building site or receiving depot. Ask who will accept and unload the consignment before booking your installer.
Details worth including
For a matching request, include a handrail profile photograph with a ruler alongside it. An existing rounded profile is not interchangeable with a rectangular rail simply because both have a similar overall width.

Orders for Sydney are made at our Bayswater workshop. Delivery is quoted for your address, panel sizes and receiving arrangements. Panels are natural LOSP-treated pine, unpainted and unprimed. Posts and delivery are not included in panel rates.
